Lorraine Hogan is an award-winning visual artist, filmmaker, songwriter, presenter and biodiversity advocate whose work celebrates Irish culture, creativity, and community. With over 25 years in the hair and beauty industry, she brings artistry and professionalism to every project — whether hosting art or music events, directing documentaries, or creating engaging visual content. Her work blends creativity and purpose, aiming to inspire, inform, and connect.
Her debut documentary Seanscoil was nominated for Best Television Production in Irish, and the 2025 version, Seanscoil 2025, is a finalist for Best Short Film at the Waterford International Film Festival. Her short film Seascape is an Official Selection at the IndieCork Film Festival 2025.
Lorraine is the creator and presenter of Creative Minds, a YouTube series that spotlights Irish artists and creative voices, highlighting the value of creativity within local communities. She has also led engaging social media campaigns for cultural festivals, bringing art and culture directly to audiences.
A proud recipient of the Pride of Cork Award 2025 for Community Impact, she is deeply committed to charitable work and supporting local arts and cultural initiatives, including Teen Idol Cork, Team Hope Ireland, Tracton Community Centre, and the Tracton Biodiversity Group.
Through her filmmaking, art, and advocacy, Lorraine celebrates Ireland’s people and heritage, and natural world while fostering community connection and creative expression.
