Lorraine Hogan

Lorraine Hogan is a multidisciplinary artist based in Cork, Ireland. A First-Class Honours graduate of the Crawford College of Art & Design, she finished among the top of her class and received the Cork Film Award for her two-screen video and sound installation The Panopticon. In 2022, Lorraine was awarded The Agility Award by the Arts Council of Ireland in recognition of her artistic innovation and dedication.

Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, with her printmaking displayed on billboards across the UK and Ireland. Blending photography, printmaking, painting, video installation, and sound, Lorraine creates immersive and emotionally resonant works that explore culture and the human experience.

Lorraine’s debut short documentary, Sean Scoil, was nominated for Best Television Documentary in Irish at the National Student Media Awards 2024. She later completed Seanscoil 2025, which highlights her roles as presenter, producer, and director, and is currently a finalist for Best Short Film at the Waterford International Film Festival 2025.

Her experimental art film has been officially selected for several international festivals, including the Bodhen International Film Festival, BIFF Sweden 2023, Lift-Off Global Network Sessions 2023, and the Cannes World Film Festival: Remember the Future 2023. Her film Seascape was also selected for the IndieCork Film Festival, where it screened at The Gate Cinema, Cork, on 8 October 2025.
