Lorraine Hogan

Lorraine Hogan is a multidisciplinary artist based in Cork, Ireland. She earned a First-Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Crawford Art College, graduating with one of the top grades in her class. During her degree show, she was honoured with the Cork Film Award for her two-screen video/sound installation, The Panopticon. In 2022, Lorraine was awarded The Agility Award by the Arts Council.
Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, with her printmaking featured on billboards across the UK and Ireland. Lorraine’s artistic practice thoughtfully combines photography, printmaking, painting, video installations, and sound, creating immersive and engaging works.
Recently, her debut short documentary, Sean Scoil, received a nomination for Best Television Documentary in Irish at the National Student Media Awards 2024. Her experimental art film was officially selected in festivals, including the Bodhen International Film Festival, BIFF Sweden 2023, Lift-off Global Network Sessions 2023, and the Cannes World Film Festival, Remember the Future 2023.
