Lorraine Hogan is an award-winning visual artist, songwriter, filmmaker, and presenter whose work celebrates Irish culture, creativity, and community life. With over 25 years in the hair and beauty industry, she brings artistry and professionalism to every project – whether hosting music events, directing documentaries, or creating engaging visual art and content. Her work blends creativity and purpose, aiming to inspire, inform, and connect.
Lorraine made her debut as a director and producer with the documentary Seanscoil, which was nominated for Best TV Production in Irish. Her film Seascape has been officially selected for the Indie Cork Film Festival in October 2025. She also produces and presents the YouTube segment Creative Minds, highlighting the value of creativity within local communities, and has led engaging social media campaigns for cultural festivals, bringing art and culture directly to audiences.
Outside the arts, Lorraine and Barry live on an award-winning farm, recently recognised by Dairygold with the ‘South Cork Regional Award’ for Highest Quality Barley. Lorraine frequently shares her farm life on social media, highlighting their biodiversity-rich fields, and her photo, Into The Wild, won the “Suitability in Action” competition, organised by the Farmers Journal and Tullamore Show
