Lorraine Hogan is an award-winning visual artist and filmmaker with a background in the arts which is complemented by an impressive 25 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry. Lorraine has carved a unique niche in presenting and producing heartfelt content that celebrates Irish culture, creativity, and community life.
Whether she’s hosting a music event, directing short documentaries, creating art or highlighting local heroes, Lorraine brings warmth, professionalism to every project. Her work blends creativity and purpose – aiming to inspire, inform, and connect.
Recently, Lorraine made her debut as a director and producer with the documentary Sean Scoil, which received a nomination for ‘Best TV Production in Irish’. Her film was also officially selected as part of the opening of the Tracton Music and Arts Festival in July 2025, marking a significant milestone in her creative journey.
Her short segment on youtube Creative Minds, which she produced, directed and presented, showcases her ability to capture vibrant cultural moments while spotlighting the value of creativity within the community. She has also been the face of the Beatles Festival and The Tracton Music & Arts Festival 2025, social media campaign, delivering engaging, upbeat promos that brought the event to life online.
Lorraine is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She has worked with Team Hope Ireland for several years, supporting their efforts to bring hope and aid to those in need. As a judge on Teen Idol Cork, she plays a vital role in nurturing and empowering young talents through the arts. Additionally, Lorraine is an active member of the Arts Festival Committee for the Tracton Music and Arts Festival, where she contributes to fostering creativity and celebrating culture in her local community. Her work exemplifies her deep belief in the transformative power of the arts to make a positive and lasting impact.
